FenrirFree Why did Dan Brown's books disappear except Angels and Demons? I understand that it is classified as a "saga" but the only thing those books have in common is the protagonist. They are all self-conclusive and deal with different things. You might as well read them in a random order and get no penalty for that.

This is why I document every stinking title that I remove from these lists! You can see from all of the notes above that it sure wasn't me. And this is also a good reminder of why we should be conservative when knocking titles off the list.

Donna Davis 3 duplicates were found and removed by the system.

I have to say, Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven etc. doesn't belong here. It is horror, and it is also poetry. It's not a mystery novel. BUT I am reluctant to remove it, given that 399 people have voted for it. Thoughts?
