Yea, I was surprised to see it on the list as well. There's nothing fantasy about it.

Highlights: Harry Potter, Dresden Files, Dark Tower
Mistborn, Narnia, His Dark Materials
Lowlights: Mortal Instruments, Eragon, Earthsea, Belgariad
The rest are various levels of okay/decent.

Uglies trilogy
Ender's Shadow
Maze Runner
On Basilisk Station
The Hunger Games
Under the Never Sky
Found
Robin Hobb deserves to be there

I agree there! Great books. They should be on the list.

I think the films had just a tad bit to do with with the popularity of the books. :p

I don't think so. I would never class them as fantasy, great books that they are.

Which is a branch of SciFi, which someone has suggested is in itself a branch of fantasy, so on those grounds should be on the list.

I wonder if the Dresden files should be here since it's clearly supernatural 'urban' fantasy (And also Maximum Ride...)

If we made this list have a minimum requirement of 40,000 ratings, we could split the space between these two lists and effectively improve both.
