i love The Hunger Games!!!!!!!!

"harry potter". the one thing that makes it special is the way it is written. twilight is the worst book series that i have ever read.people in my area believe it to be "the ladies bible"(allthough i am against it, some boys are also reading and speaking about it,Edward this....Edward that.....).The concept of vampires with supernatural powers like controlling the elements is just outrageous.After reading it, i even lost my respect that i had for
mr. dracula

Going in a slightly more mature direction (but totally great for YA romantic fantasy), . Just a great read.

Definitely the Maximum Ride series, The Infernal Devices( prequel series to Mortal Instruments) All books by Rick Riordan, Shiver, and Obsidian by Jennifer Armentrout.

Vote for 'Hyblood', an up-and-coming Vampire and Werewolf series!

Some of these books i read in grade 3!!!!!!

As well as grade 4 they arent young adult books

I have moved on from harry potter ever since Harry Potter DH Part 2 came out. Harry Potter is a children's book, not a young adult's! I read deathly hallows when I was 8 or younger (not exaggerating).

Mistica Natural!!! Anyone who is able to read spanish should go read this book it is amazing!! I just came out by a brand new author named Guadalupe Cuahonte, so you can only get it threw ebooks right now but I am sure that once the word spreads about this book they'll start selling it in stores. books like harry potter and hunger games aren't there at all !! i wish J.K Rowling ll' write another book on the marauders !!! ..... and Suzanne Collins ll be able to find another way to continue hunger games !! can anyone tell me a good book like harry potter ..... cos i find other books boring after reading harry potter ......

I havent read it yet should I read it? I read Twilight and though the storyline isn't fantastic, it is pretty good when it comes to wording. And yes, that as pathetic :)

The Hunger Games 1, 2 & 3 are amazing books! Better than the twilight saga, even though I'm a massive fan of both.

you havent read harry potter?? go buy that book, or borrow from library, its an epic you are missing out on. there is no comparison between harry potter and twilight, just like we dont compare dirt and gold.

HUNGER GAMES ALL THE WAY

Super mega fan of The Mortal Instruments Series (And The Infernal Devices)!!!! I would say that those should be number one. I don't really like Harry Potter no offense to those who do though. John Green is also a good writer--oh and so is Becca Fitzpatrick!!! I could go on forever about my favorite authors and books but yeah. . .

I love hunger game so much & I can't even get tired of reading it.

I read the first Twilight book and I could hardly could get to the end because it was so mushy and boring. It made me want to through up! Oh Edward baby shut up! I mean get a life Bella why would you even want to date a Vampire! I mean at least Jacob was more believeable as a character all the other characters were whinny babies! Anyways that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it!

Harry Potter all the way! :)

P.S. The Hunger games is good, too! (Well, at least the first two books...)

You should get the morganville series by Rachel Caine and Vampire diaries by L.J Smith they are both excellent series' Lauren Kate's books are also very good as are Cynthia Letich Smth's. hope this helps

I love Harry Potter, Twilight is good as well but I think Harry Potter is way better by far. Me love sirius black :)

I have been reading books since I learned how to read, and the best one I have ever read is ''The Demon Side'' by Heaven liegh Eldeen. Mystical, magical and a phenomenal love story..

twilight is a stupid book..........the only YA/romance book that i hate...i hate the way it is written...

I'm with her on this as I have said before I hate twilights books ( especially the manga) but I watch the movies but I love Harry potter way much more than twilight any day also considering I'm reading the series right now I'm just waiting for me to get the fith one!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE The Hunger Games. They are AMAZING!!! If you read the back or a summary of it, you might think 'Eew! killing people!!?' but just read it and trust me you will love it.

Great list. Not a huge fan of the Twilight series though. Read the first two books ago a long time ago and found them forgettable. I didn't really understand when they became the "big thing". The other books on this list I remember to today, and would recommend to adults and children alike (i.e. Harry Potter, The Giver, The Golden Compass, Alanna, The Hatchet, The Perks of Being a Wallflower).
