Not all of them actually have vampires in them. Looks like people were just adding random YA books.

All of those have vampires in them, altough they might not be all about vampires...

I was talking about the actual list. I don't remember there being vampires in The Giver, Uglies, or Generation Dead, and I'm guessing theres a lot more on there that don't have vampires in them.
I think Peeps was way better than Twilight. Come on, a guy wants to hunt down and kill the vampire girlfriend who turned him, ends up getting into some deep shit. That's what vampire novels are about, not sparkles and plot holes bigger than the sun.

I am pretty sure this list was made by teenage idiots seeing as it is drowning in books that are as different from each other as green is from Verde. Some books are pretty good. Some ar4e not even vampire.Just because the people are perfect does not make them vampires. You know this list is bogus when Dracula is number 30 and Twilight is number 1. great try . not.

right now I have to say vampire academy by richelle meade. haven't read the house of night books yet but I'm planning to. is it worth buying or borrowing from the library
If you like the Twilight series read the House of night series!!! It's a really good series it's about vampires(duh) and it's just really...... AWESOME!!

they're just too many vampire books! I mean, it's like authors don't have anything else to write about. But, I sure do love vampyre books.

Becasue when I see my 16 year old couses who is obsessed with Twilight, I mean really she could be doing lot worse things as a teenager.
kissed by an angel is the best. i really reccomend those but there arent any vampires in it tho
so far other than reading the Twilight series, i have started Richelle Mead's "Vampire Academy" series... and I have to say i can't put it DOWN!!! and the 6th book is gonna be released next year!! GAH!!!!!def shelving a few of these for after i finish the 5th book of VA

This list made me die inside. Not only is Twilight number 1 *cries*, but a majority of the books on here are not VAMPIRE fiction. Oh, and its specifically says to only add the first of the series to represent the entire series. And the comments only prove teenage girl stereotypes.
What's that: 26 users voting for Uglies? It's a great book, but it is definitely lacking vampires.
Why are the Warrior Books on this list? I recall NO mention of Vamps anywhere in all two and a half series. . .

Since when are Harry Potter, The Giver, and Uglies vampire books? And the only vampire books I have read are Twilight (it was ok), Vampirates (pretty good), and Cirque Du Freak (my favorite books).
And Warriors, Lightning Thief, Fairest, Live as We Know It, and The Hunger Games are also not vampire books but they are on this list.
I loved all the vampire books i have read I have read the mortal instruments series the twilight series the house of night series the secret circle series and vampire dairy's and night world lastly i have read vampire academy my favorite was vampire academy and house of night ( hon ) I'd rather read vampire related fictional books but i like most any kind of science fiction books with things like shape shifters, wear wolves, witches, of course vampires, so if you have any good books you think i would like please leave a comment for Emily and i'll check them out thanks!!! p.s please tell me a little about the book and if it's for teens or adults thanks!!!

Vampire academy the best vampire novel that I have ever read
The Achlemyst rules! ONly a little vampire part, but one of the main characters is a vampire, eventhough vampirism isnt what da bookis about.

Pitiful isn't it how people don't pay any attention to the name of the list? but I have been guilty of this myself..sigh. To bad the person who creates the list cannot delete books that do not apply.
