Evermore doesn't have vampires on it, it has a different species called immortals.
I think that the House of Night Series (burned is coming out April 23), The Twilight Saga, Vampire Academy, Evermore, and the Vampire Kisses are the best vampire books EVER!!! House of Night is the best out of that group...P. C. Cast RULEZ!!!!
Some of the books in this list aren't about vampires.eg.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series
I know but I have read them all and if u like vampire books u will like these ones too..even if they aren't vampire series

I read the first Nightworld book and it was SO cool!! Then I read the second two and I just couldn't get into either of them.

This whole genre ought to be discounted as literature.

Heh heh heh. I love that you're chucking a spazz over my comment. I'm just chuffed that you even paid it any mind. In response let me just say that I read as much brain candy as anyone, but I do not call it anything other than that. Maybe I'm a purist about classifying literature, but I acknowledge that the things that I enjoy that are devoid of literary value are not literature. That's all. I'm not discounting the value of the enjoyment one might get from anything (including this genre).

The Summoning, The Awakening, Evermore Blue Moon, Dhadowland, The Private, Fairest, and some others here have NOTHING to do with vamps.

It is the last book, check her website. It says it is the last book, but there'll be other books from other characters points of view etc.

Yes they do they suck blood:)but the Twilight saga is awesome and i don't dis it or any other vamp book.
vampire's do suck (suck blood) good one. but they also rock(at least their strong enough to break them) I would say no pun intended but that was a pun intended. On a side note I'm so excited to see the eclipse movie on the 30 this month.
...Why is Fairest on here? There were no vampires in that book!
I don't recall vamps being in Evermore. I believe they were just immortal, not vampires.

I have read them all and they are great...oh and if you want another option (its okay) but if you dont mind Vampires on the other end of the spectrum...Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Why is the Private series on a list that is supposed to be about vampires? Whoever did that should have paid attention to what they were doing and not put books that I am sure does not have anything to do with vampires.
This list made me giggle :).Twilight should not be recommended to teens mainly because of what it promotes. (pedophilia, necrophilia, abusive relationships....stalking)

Sorry for the bad joke but actually, vampires do suck (blood).
Half of these books aren't even about vampires. Some do mention vampires, but there are no vampire characters in them.
'Evermore' isn't even a vampire novel, and 'The Mortal Instruments' serie doesn't center on them either. And certainly not 'Warriors'!. This list isn't very credible, and people should stop mindlessly suggesting books that have nothing to do with the list's theme. An edit is needed here, badly.
