Really? I liked it, but didn't expect to. Did you read the whole thing, because I thought it got really good about half way through...

I think I made it to page 50, I can't stick with things that bore me. I'll try the next book though.

I just read "Lolly Willowes" last week. What a great book! The writing was beautiful.

I tried listening to the audio version of the book, yet I could not stand it. It's not only due to the fact that the narrator was.. not good, also, the text itself offers almost nothing new to the genre. And, the writer could not get me into the same ol' story again.

My book, Save Me Sinfully, published through The Wild Rose Press. It’s a paranormal romance involving a half angel half demon.

I noticed this list is missing The Fallen Series by Kristina Douglas, Those books are the best i have read and I am 100% it beats The Hush Hush series i have read as well, I would highly recommend these to read, The Titles are : Raziel Book 1, Demon Book 2, Warrior Book 3, Book 4 is not out yet but is coming out in March.

I noticed that I didn't see the trilogy by Faith Hunter, "Host", "Seraphs" and "Bloodring" in the series titled "A Rogue Mage Novel". They should be here because they are well written and very definitely involve angels and demons.

I have read it recently and can honestly say that there is no mentions of angels,gods or demons. It's only been shelved because of the title

I believe you(people do crazy things), but I don't think it would be right of me to delete it if I didn't know for myself that there weren't any. Hey, maybe I'll just read it. ;)

It doesn't.People just assume that because characters have wings and a character's name is Angel that the series has to do with angels.

OMG that's so annoying! Why would you vote for a book you haven't read, and if they did read it, they obviously just fangirl over the book and want it on every list. I hate when people do that.

I totally agree with you!!! Just because you think its a great book doesn't mean you put it on every list!
My favourite is definitely Halo by Alexandra Adornetto!!!

The Divine Comedy is superb. I do recommend picking up the annotated version because it really goes in depth about why it is written how it is and what each reference means. A lot of it is stuff you typically wouldn't know about (because it's so old and is translated) and you can learn a LOT just by reading these books and their notes. I have reread Inferno many times because it is such a wonderful story. Definitely a must read. :)

I'm looking for a mystery romance book pairing half demon / fallen angel so to speak. Can be also demon/fallen angel. They don't have to hit it off at the beginning can be adversaries but should end up as couple. Preferably the characters should not be younger than 30 and it should be a modern setting not something medieval.

In short:

(half)demon X fallen angel

adversaries -> lovers

time: present

characters should no longer be teens
