What do those last four books by S.E. Smith have to do with circuses?

The heroines are circus performers. Jo for example is a acrobat/high-wire performer.

I've been on the hunt for a specific book for a friend who can't remember the name of a book they read, except that it was set a few years back, the heroine sees the hero at a circus, he doesn't talk and has lots of tattoos. She gets home to find he's run away from the circus and hiding on her farm. They think at some point there was a fire caused by a vandal and that the title had the word 'water' was in the title. Unfortunately, still no luck after going through this list.

I have been on the search for a book also. Not a clue what the title is or the author. The book was about a woman named Daisy who blows through her inheritance from her mother and finds herself in a marriage to a circus performer arranged by her father. There was a point where she lit a cigarette in an airport parking lot, and it burst into flames. He said the cigarette must have been defective. Later in the book, the find that her step mother had tampered with her birth control, and she had indeed conceived. The couple got in a fight about it, and then she assisted him during his circus act, which went bad, and she wound up on the receiving end of a bull whip. He immediately felt bad for it and to apologize to her, he went to an all night convenient store in the middle of a no where town and bought supplies for the baby. That's all I can remember about the book.
