Themis-Athena (Lioness at Large) How literally are we to take the words "this century" in the list description? I see a fair amount of books that were published in the 20th, not the 21st century and, in many cases, have long since become classics in their own right (e.g., The Power of Myth, The Blind Watchmaker, The Language Instinct: How the Mind Creates Language, The Interpretation of Dreams , Religion and Science). Stay or go?

Themis-Athena (Lioness at Large) Also: What's to be done about the 2 notorious spam entries on this list (Control Switch On: The Untold Story Of The Most Powerful Man In The World-Ryan Moran-Who Shaped The Planet For Peace and A Cancer Prevention Guide for the Human Race)? Should they be deleted by a GR librarian or be left alone?

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads What caught my eye was Joseph Cambell's Hero of a Thousand Faces - published 1949.

Do you want anything removed, Elizabeth?

Yes -- I saw that too. And Freud's The Interpretation of Dreams is from 1899, so it's not even a 20th century publication.

A Brief History of Time (#13) is another one. It was first published in 1988. Remains the question: 20th, 21st century or both (I'd wish it would be put in the description instead of putting just 'this century'...)
