How many books would you like to have each month as an option to read?
It doesn't mean you will read them all, but as an option to do so, how many would you like to see posted for discussion?

Skye, There were "leaders" of the discussion for last months (Jan.), some did make comments, some not so much. But there wasn't much conversation again on the books.
I am starting to think four is just too many and no one will read them. Even though no one has to read all four, maybe they feel the need to and then don't read none.
I don't know the solution to get people wanting to read and discuss the books. We vote, and it still doesn't help much. So, I don't know.
Hopefully, by only having two selections this month (Feb.) maybe we will get more participation.
I guess people are busy and don't have time to read and comment. It's not just this group though, I see other admin.'s complaining also about low participation.

I don't know how to increase participation either. I once ran a book club for trainers online and did way too much work. When nobody else ever wanted to lead a discussion, I let the Yahoo group fold.
I think people like to vote but even I don't always realize that my vote means I should read and comment on the book. It is fun to have 'my' book win though.
All I can say is to keep going!
Do we still have someone leading the discussions? I think we decided on that a couple of months ago when you gave the option for someone who suggests a book to say whether or not they will lead the discussion.
