Cuckoo Song as Frances Hardinge is one of my new favourite authors after reading The Lie Tree . Seemingly Cuckoo Song will keep you guessing 'till the end.
I chose cuckoo song as well. It just looks like an October book.

I'd like to read "Cuckoo Song"...the teaser reminds me of when I awoke from a 2-month comatose state! Albeit, my experience wasn't EXACTLY the same...I relate.

Well, we won't know until the end of the month, but I too think that Harry Potter and the Cursed Child might win.
As much as I love Harry Potter(and that's A LOT) i hope it isnt Cursed Child. Like I would gently throw any of the Harry Potter books in your face to read.
But I havent been able to pick this play up cause I can't seem to get my hands on it, and I've heard VERY mixed reviews.

I don't particularly want to read this myself - would love to see the play. Its very easily available in Ireland, the UK and Germany - but its only in Hardback - so its expensive too.
