I'm starting to wonder if I haven't already. One of my old co-workers self-published a comic book series using almost entirely art generated by AI.

I'm not too worried about AI anymore though after reading Joshua chapter 8. :D

AI works by being "trained" to draw information from a myriad of sources. As such, it's products don't have an author and are not the creation of an individual or group of individuals. It is merely a compilation of bits and pieces stolen from the rightful creators (author, artist, composer, etc.) AI is not true art, writing, music, sculpture, or anything else that requires talent, insight, and creativity to do.

With the current A.I. NO because of its inaccurate and unreliable information. Much of A.I. these days are biased, censored, needs to be politically correct (pc) and woke.

This is a good point. Is a comic more about the writing or the art? Or must be both? I favour good writing over art. For me it's a question of motivation. Is the author wanting to share a story or looking for a quick, easy cash grab? Could you share a link? I may be interested in reading depending on topic.

I tried looking for a link but it no longer looks like they're available. He did something to get himself banned from Amazon, so he was selling from his own website for a while, but that website is now showing a "This domain is for sale" placeholder page :(
