I read them as standalones and I really regret it. It was a drag to read TOD alone.

TOD is my least favorite, I wish I tandem read it.

TANDEM!! I can't stress this enough. It really reads like one huge book and it's sooo good. I really think you'll regret it if you don't tandem.
