Does enjoying the book have you speeding up in anticipation or slowing down to soak in the text?
A great question. I'm a slow reader. Wish i could read faster.

Same, but I'm grateful that I remember a lot of detail so I'd rather that than read faster and forget.
I find it fun to re-read and pickup missed details
I think I'm average, I try for 20 books every year, sometimes I'm a few books over, sometimes under. I don't read more because I get busy and sometimes because I'm reading a longer book. Than again, most people I know don't read nearly that many books but lots of people here on Goodreads read a loooooot more than me, so.
