Just curious...has anyone ever read To Have and Have Not?

I have read TO HAVE AND HAVE NOT. I read it while in Key West, since the novel was set in Key West. I read it eating conch fritters,and sipping a drink with an unbrella in it, on the coast, watching ships sailing by, under an umbrella on a dock, right where highway 1 ends on the water. It was so cool. I've also held the screenplay typed by another famous author on a typewriter. I had to wear special gloves to hold that screenplay,and anyone know the author who typed it himself??? Trivia time!!! Any guesses?????

The movie starred Humphrey Bogart,and it was Lauren Bacalls first film. It's the one she whistles in,and when Humphrey fell in love with her. It's a great movie! You must see it!

yes, it was faulkner....he needed money,and he did screenplays in hollywood,and had affairs too.... but it was still cool to hold a screenplay he typed himself....
