It doesn't really matter to me as long as the book is well-written and the story, as Mona said, is compelling.

I like post apopcalypse type books like S.M. Stirling.

Much like Abby posted, for me,it needs to be a well-wrritten book, and as Mona said, compelling. I don't have one type of paranormal that I like over the other, and will read about any of the books involving the type of characters listed in the survey. I'd have to say the least read have been demons and angels though.

I love time travel with historical details. Also most of Stephen King's books

some of a paranormal activities which keep the reader excited with whats gonna happen next

Usually all the paranormal seems to be about romance.I guess the are need of more themes.

There is Urban Fantasy, which usually has Paranormal in it. Usually Urban Fantasy doesn't revolve around Romance. Although, there are sometimes love interests.

Shifters/Vamps/Demons are what I like to read, but as long as the paranormal is exciting and well done – I am game for anything.

Just recently got into Urban Fantasy. I really love shifters and werewolves.

Pretty much all of the above. If the story is well written, the plot moves along, the characters interesting any type of paranormal is great.

Mermaids mostly,angels and fairys to.

I was torn on what to answer--I enjoy them all, but I read vampires and witches most often.

I love anything well written and original not of the cookie cut template novels you find so often in romance.
I just got done The Last Werewolf by Glen Duncan and wow that was well done!

I had to pick other I can't just like one. It's great when it has more then one like Angels' Blood, or Where Demons Darejust one is good but more the one is great.

I prefer a combination of types of characters. Just like you wouldn't like a book to have only one type of person. Vampires & shapeshifters with maybe a witch or 2 just for a change. Shapeshifters & angels is something that you don't see alot of but would be a nice change also.
