Do you mean notice from the readers or the authors?

Haven't been part of the group long enough to explore many of the pages yet. But I did read the other messages in this thread.
About the R4R, in another group I'm in that has a review program, a moderator keeps track of it all. Two books a week are offered, in a post that includes the Goodreads link to the book, the blurb of the book, what formats will be available, the date the reviews are due by, and the email address specifically created for the program. Us readers have to email the moderator who the tells the author the email address and format choice of the person. All reviews are due 3 weeks after the post about the book goes live and we are only allowed to sign up two at a time. And if you don't follow the rules you are banned from any further participation.

Myles thank you for the suggestion, I have covered most of it here, but I should specify a link to the book is desirable.

While I see the point that you are making in regards to the R4R I just want to stress that this is not a R4R oriented group, as there are plenty such. R4R's a double sided knife and while I agree I could adapt other groups way of handling r4r's, I need to think if I actually want to do this and then to find a mod to deal with this. As a lot of the r4r offered books are YA oriented I may not be willing to make those changes as we already have one YA Dystopian Group.
Also Beth, a question to you as a reader and reviewer - Is it more likely for you to participate in an r4r where you have to contact the mod or the author? Just curious.

My sincere apologies that you are not finding what you are looking for in this group, but we are not as active as other groups, and I am not striving to increase activity by providing R4Rs, nor will I start putting only YA books as group reads to attract what seems to be the most active participants of Goodreads - the YA oriented reader. In addition, a lot of the books offered may simply not appeal to the participants of this group or the people that would be willing to review them may not be seeing them.
That said I am not unwilling to make changes to the r4r process, so please think about alternatives and let me know.
Also I know authors sometimes send books and don't receive reviews, but in my opinion in those cases the books are not being read at all.

Not entirely, and even if so I appreciate your comment ;) I did add today the suggestion to link the book, as this is something I had missed.
