A low stone building half a mile from the fields. Crowded with burly sentries. You can always have a good time, but you might go deaf from the noise.

Alex is a Crazy Pony "Gerard." Clara greeted him quietly, as she entered the room. She sat down on the edge of her own bed nearby, and glanced around. It was always so loud in there. Drinking, gambling, it all went on always.
A really drunk guy stumbled nearby, and she stuck her leg out. She gave a smirk as he tumbled over her outstretched leg, and slammed into the floor with a groan.

Alex is a Crazy Pony "I'm just teaching him the dangers of over-intoxication." Clara responded, rolling her eyes as she swung her legs up onto the bed. She watched the other man scurry off, and glanced over at Nick. "Goodness, can't you take a Paxil or something? The room is loud enough without yelling."

Alex is a Crazy Pony Clara pushed back a feeling she didn't feel often. She couldn't name, but it accompanied a blurry image and a soft squeeze of the hand. Why bother feeling anything? There's no way this will ever change. She cleared her throat and shook her head. "You're getting soft, Nick." she commented quietly. But her voice wasn't harsh or rude or even sarcastic. It was pointed, as if she was trying to affirm some little thought she didn't truly believe.

Alex is a Crazy Pony "Mm-hmm." She mumbled vaguely. "Improve my life." Clara repeated. Forget the others. They are slaves. Ignore their cries, you'll be fine in the end. "Well, I'm hungry. Anyone want to join me for lunch?" she stood and turned her back to them as she took a book from the small alcove behind her bed. She had a habit of reading while she ate. It helped her ignore the hell going on everywhere.
