Which series do you like better?

I really like them both, but I'm definitely leaning toward .

I've read both series, but House of Night made me hooked since the first book. I wasn't really hooked in Vampire Academy

Even though the HoN is dragging. I still go for HoN

I'm a House of Night fan to the fullest! I own every single book in the series and all the side books they have. From the first book I have been obsessed. I think I may have read the whole series at least 5 times. I have read the Vampire Academy books but they just don't give off the same vibe as the House of Night series.

I have only read the first Vampire Academy book, but I've read the first 7 House of Night books. I can already say I like Vampire Academy more. House of Night started off good but I really think House of Night should have been over a while ago. I'm sick of Zoe and all her boy toys. Just pick one already. Stop being all coy and innocent and I can't choose. It's irritating.

I can't really choose between the two. I would say Va, but love HoN, just as much even though I feel the series is dragging out. There has been too many filler books with HoN in my opinion. Some of the books where unnecessary to me.

VAMPIRE ACADEMY. i loved both series, really, i did. but in house of night, it started out really good and all, with an awesome plot. but then it got really dramatic as the series went on, and kind of annoying. also, the fact that zoe was all innocent, TOO innocent kind of annoyed me. like how she wouldn't say "shit" or "crap". she would say "oh, poopie." I MEAN REALLY? that made me want to burn the book, chew the ashes, spit them out and eat a pine cone to cleanse the taste, before doing a bonfire indian dance while i scattered the ashes into the wind, swearing like a pirate. and when SPOILER ALERT: stevie rae died, i was just like, NO. NO. NO NO NO NO NO. I SHAME YOU P.C. AND KRISTEN CAST. I HOPE THIS SERIES FAILS AND YOU CAN'T GET ANYMORE BOOKS OUT. and when they brought her back, it was okay, but it wasn't the same and not as cool. plus with that whole aphrodite thing...she was good as a villain but zoe had to be a bleeding heart and a slut, didn't she? SPOILER OVER.
i preferred VA much more. rose was a no-nonsense girl, so it really cut out a lot of the unnecessary fluff of house of night. it was kind of mature, so i understand why a lot of people wouldn't like it, but personally, if you were accustomed to more mature themes, it was really good. plus, the writing style is just a lot better. you can't compare it.

have you guys ever heard of the evermore drinking game? if not, you should look it up. but the same thing applies here.
in house of night, whenever zoe says: poopie, or denies being a slut or whore, or says she doesn't like sluts or whores, take a shot!!!
by the end of the first three books you will have died from alcohol consumption.
as much as zoe denies being a slut or whore and says she doesn't like that stuff, she is a SLUT. A HARDCORE SLUT. i mean, rose kinda is too, but she never tries to deny it. besides, rose actually doesn't sleep with the teacher she likes until they both have promised they truly love each other and it stay like that, instead of with zoe where loren runs off afterwards and ends up being a traitor that never loved her and played her like a violin. plus then zoe started crying after her boyfriend Eric, even when HE SAW THEM NAKED and she kind of deserved the breakup. ERIC WAS SO FRIGGING NICE TO HER. HE WAS SO SWEET, AND SO AWESOME, AND SHE WENT AND CHEATED ON HIM, ALL WHILE DENYING BEING A SLUT. i couldn't even finish the series.

and rose NEVER EVER cheated. even she had her morals, while zoe violated her own morals while trying to be innocent and deny it.

Definitely Vampire Academy!! I like the HoN series but i don't like Zoey. I won't find a vampire series as good as the Vampire Academy series!! VAMPIRE ACADEMY ALL THE WAY!!!

VAMPIRE ACADEMY even though I still have to read the last two books which I've had for about a year. I have no idea why I haven't read them though. I tried reading house of night series but after the 5th or 6 th book I realized it wasn't really worth it

I'm going to have to go with VA. HoN would have been good if the main character could actually admit her faults but she couldn't. I never managed to get to book 4 of that series.

Zoey is not a "slut" nor a "whore" she slept with Professor Blake and later on she admits it was an mistake... a big one. So she's only slept with two people. One was a mistake and one was SPOILER: Stark and he and she have been together for the remainder of the series.To be a slut or a whore means you have loose morals when it come to sex, and Zoey is far from that... SO, and whats wrong with not wanting to swear?
Rose also cheated are you forgetting? Adrian and her were together in Last Sacrifice and she and Dimitri got together. SO your point is invalid.

I don't know both are great, V.A. and H.O.N. are awesome. Its a really difficult question but i'd have to go with Vampire Academy.

I read both, but I couldn't finish the house of night. It started to drag and I fell out of the series. So for that reason I would have to say vampire academy, but they are both great

I like both but Vampire academy hands down is the better series!

Vampire academy all the way! It has a much more interesting storyline and it isnt that confusing to keep up with unlike house of night. The story keeps dragging on and on in house of night. Oh and vampire academy has Adrian and Dimitri! ;)
