Brilliant book. Easy read, not overly long. Highly recommended, Ashleigh. :):)


That I can still feel strongly about this book so long after I think says a lot for how it affected me.
Fowles was a writer of his time with a voice of that time. A touch transcendental. No idea if it reads as old fashioned now. Some books don't age well.

I picked up The Collector at a B&B and started reading it. Having to leave before I finished I then scouted the second hand stores and found a great early edition Penguin.
It's an excellent book, Ashleigh. I hope you enjoy it.
