Sounds fun, yah? A second go at some of your favorite challenges around Goodreads. Well, now you have that chance.
I've noticed some of our members have already joined in the fun. But, in case you haven't heard, Cherie has created a group called Second Chance Challenges: A place for all of those challenges you missed or weren't able to complete in your favorite challenge groups.
She's asked us to join her growing list of Partner Groups who are allowing her to recycle our expired, archived challenges. We have agreed because we're all challenge addicts and know what fun it would be to have a second chance to tackle a challenge.
I have created a specific folder that will be used solely for those challenges we authorize for use in her group. All of our other challenges, even if they have expired, are being archived here for potential future reboot.
Cherie will not post any SOS challenge, whether created by the mods or our members, without prior permission. She will contact the challenge's creator directly for permission prior to using the challenge at SCC.
If you have created a challenge for SOS and would like to share the challenge with her group, please consider the following questions, then either post your interest to share w/SCC in this thread or send me a PM and I'll move your challenge into the SCC archive folder.
Questions to ask yourself before sharing a challenge:
1. Has the challenge expired or is it still on-going?
If the challenge has no expiration date, I ask that you leave the challenge here for our members to join. Similarly, if the challenge has an expiration date, but it hasn't passed, please leave it at SOS until it's expired.
2. Do I want to reuse the challenge idea at SOS in the future?
If so, please leave the challenge here. If no, please feel free to share with SCC.
The choice to share a challenge lies with the creator. Please do not feel pressured either way - no one is required to share their challenge, but everyone is welcome to do so.
If you have any questions, please let me know. As always, feel free to send me a PM if you wish to chat privately.
