Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

I have two books and the author has the cover artwork in pdf. Can I upload this as the cover? I couldn't find any mention of pdf's so I'm thinking not, but maybe someone has a workaround that I'm not thinking of?

I haven't paid attention to what format it needs to be, only because I haven't run into any issues while uploading. That's a good question though.

Do you have paint or any basic program on your computer, where you can just change the format over to a jpeg?

I do have paint - ok that's simple enough. I figured it was something simple that I wasn't thinking of.

Jpg gif Png (and if the file is small enough) tiffs as well. Bmp and other windows formats should work but I've never used them.
