Umm, that BNA (body and ass) though >>>>>

*swoons*

Anna (Bananas) | 757 comments I was so excited about this comic, and the first two issues haven't let me down. I love that they're putting the sexy front and center, as it should be with Gambit. :)
He's always been such a fun character so it's perfect that he's getting his own series again. I love Wolverine and Rogue and other X-Men, but Gambit is tops.

Yes! I also enjoy the first two issues. One thing about superhero comics is that they tend to get repetitive with their plots. But in Gambit's case, he's unique and interesting for trying to start anew with a straight-laced life with X-Men while still engaging in his guilty pleasure of stealing.

He constantly appears on lists of sexiest superheroes so it's only due justice for him to show a little skin here and there... or a lot of skin everywhere (^_^)

OMG i didnt know he got his own comic!?!?!? I love Gambit he is so cute and funny !!!! plz tell me the names and author of the comic

Anna (Bananas) | 757 comments Ashton, the writer is James Asmus and artist Clay Mann. I'm not familiar with either of them. The first 2 issues were good.
Kay, hope to see more skin, the ladies like it too. :) He really is a fun character though. I agree about the repetitive superhero plots. I like that he's kind of leading a double life in this run. Should be interesting.

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) My friend got me into the X-Men and Gambit. I'm so thankful for that. Still love him!

Anna (Bananas) | 757 comments I first got into them watching the X-men cartoons. :)

Anna (Bananas) | 757 comments And Hi Danielle, nice to see you here

Ren (firefly15309) | 2 comments Got to agree, Gambit is the ultimate character. Out of all the characters in the x universe he is my second favorite only Rogue comes in above him. Loved the picture with the both of them in it on the page and I definitely going to have to follow this one.

The Caffeinated Lady (ravenofpoe14) Jeeze, Gambit has his own comic now! *swoons* He has always been the only man for my heart. lol

michelle+8 (michelleplus8) I'm not a big fan of X-Men, but I do love me some Gambit!

Anna (Bananas) | 757 comments Fourth issue had some nice touches:

"When in doubt...go with the classics?" *BIG cheer* :)
I'm really liking the look and attitude of Joelle. Wondering what the hell she is also.
The Cajun accent seemed to have stepped up a bit in this issue. Some people seem to dislike that but you gotta love Cajuns, right?
Half-naked Remy is always welcome. Also, that stubble is just HOT. I know I shouldn't lust after a drawing but I can't help myself.
That kiss was so sexy - his gloved hand, the way she's holding his head and his chest, and he's almost falling backward. *fanning self*

A couple things I didn't like:
Standard big monster fight - why do superhero comics have so much of this crap? It's not even interesting!
I must be dense because I just realized there are two inkers. I was wondering why the art kept going from too delicious for words to unfinished-looking and ugly. Wish they stuck with the better artist.

michelle+8 (michelleplus8) Reading that issue, I couldn't help but think they definitely had female readers in mind. :)

Regarding Gambit's accent, IME, with most people the more stressed out they are the more the true accent comes out. Some folks get riled up and you can't hardly understand 'em. ;)

Anna (Bananas) | 757 comments They sure did!

Good point on the accent. That makes sense given the action in that issue.
