I just can't decide which series to read next. Midnight Breed or Immortals After Dark.....HELP!!!

Midnight breed is pretty awesome although some of the women irritated me a lot because they were so defenseless. Immortals after dark is cool too. The second book is a bit disturbing. You'll see why. I would go with midnight breed first.

of the two Midnight Breed is my favorite. There my be similarities to BDB in the first couple of books but afterwards it becomes its own series.

Yes I definitely noticed some similarities but I didn't fall for those guys like I did for BDB. =)

Personally I like Immortals After Dark waaaaaaaaaaay more then Midnight Breed. (That's not a slam on Midnight Breed those are great books, I just love IAD.)

I'm not sure which I like more. Book 2 of IAD disturbed me a bit.

In a hunger like no other it seemed to border on rape to me. He was completely insane. He grew on me by the end but for most of the book I was thinking wtf! Get away from the crazy man!

I can totally see it, but for IAD you kind of have to suspend normal human moral thinking. Honestly I'm surprised I liked it at all because that's usually a horrible sticking point for me.

Yes it actually disturbs me that I like the series as well. I didn't have that problem with book 1 or 3 tho. I've gotta read 4 soon.

Ha-ha!! I"m glad it's not just me. I totally love them, but I always step back and think, "Gosh that was so wrong!"

Then I always justify, they're not human they don't think like us. Total viscous circle.

Lolz! Yeah my mind is getting more an more desensitized to everything! LOL

Immortals After Dark is so much funnier. The Valkyrie are great characters & some are in every book. Midnight Breed is a darker kind of series.

I'd go with IAD.

It's true. Humor wise, IAD is on the top for PNR. Never fails to bring me side aches from laughing. Plus, the characters are all great and you can look back on them with each book and see other sides of them.

Though if you can get through BDB then IAD should be fine.
