As Easy As...1-2-3! September Monthly-Mini Challenge

This challenge is an ongoing monthly mini-challenge to keep us all motivated to start, (and then continue), some of the many series in our TBR.

Rules:

1) You must read one of each; a 1st, 2nd, and a 3rd book in a series.

2) Any genre of series is acceptable.

3) 'Half-step' short-stories (i.e., shorts in anthologies), do not count.
**For uniformity, the numbering on GR will be the judge of this.**

4) Rereads do count.

5) No more than 2 of the 3 books each month can be from the same series.

Since I'm trying to clean up some of my series book, I'll give this one a shot, but I'm only going to commit to one set of three ... for now, at least!

1 - Shoofly Pie (Bug Man series #1), by Tim Downs, finished 9/4 - a good story, but wayyyy too much detail about the life cycle of bugs and how they ummm... assist in decomposition

2 - Second Sight (Brady Coyne & J.W. Jackson series #2), by Philip R. Craig and William G. Tapply, finished 9/12 - enjoyed this installment as much as I did the first book with Brady and J.W. working together. Too bad #3 is the last in the series :\

3 - Photo, Snap, Shot (Kiki Lowenstein series #3), by Joanna Campbell Slan, finished 9/17 - another good story, with a bit of scrapbooking 'help' thrown in, but I hope the "love triangle" bit is resolved soon and doesn't drag out for the rest of the series!
