Thanks Ty! The dimensions are 970 x 245 pixels.The historical couple isn't from a cover, it's Sleeping beauty pose with Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens.

I love the masthead, but am by no means creative enough to create anything like that! I am just going to sit back and enjoy the wonderful pictures the others make! =)

Those are awesome! But I think I like the first just the teeniest bit more than the second.
Wow they are both great Christine!I think Dee could just shake them all up like a raffle and post a newby each month - maybe with some space between the more similar ones :) I love them all!

hey everyone!it has been about 6 months since we posted the banner for the group and its time to mix it up a bit..there are several links posted above that we are looking at, but if you have any ideas/designs feel free to link them here!
they're all nice in their own way...why not just rotate them?
because we want to give others an option - make sure any newbies out there that might not have seen this thread have a chance
Yeah, I like the rotating idea. Of course, new ones are nice to look at, too, for more options, but I have nothing to submit. I am not good at making those!
Sorry Dee, I thought the ones posted above were new submissions. I'd love to take a crack at it, but my art style is abstract, so I don't see it fitting in well here...plus it takes a ton of time, which I really can't spare right now.Whatever you get for submissions, it would be nice to have some kind of rotation - especially for those who submit.
Yz, Jane, Fran and I were all chatting away with our mod hats on (sorry, you guys will have to imagine the visual, but it was highly entertaining, at least to me) and we thought that we would open up the design to interested members and change it out on a rotating basis.
The masthead should reflect several elements within the romance genre (PNR, contemporary, historical, fantasy etc) - since we are equal opportunity romance lovers. Other than that, let your creative juices fly!
If you post the picture to photobucket and then link it in this thread, I or one of the other mods can easily access it. Or if you want to email it, send me a PM and I'll pass you my email.
