The following three books are listed on my author page, but I didn't actually write any of them--I edited them, and the authors decided to note this.

See message 41 - You should ask over in the librarian group and they will merge it ( and any reviews, ratings or shelvings) with the correct edition.

Sorry, but how do you 'upload to Amazon.'?

Hi David. I'll be self-publishing my book through Amazon's CreateSpace. My designer has prepared a book cover that I will upload to the site. When the proofreading is finished, I'll be uploading the PDF of the text to CreateSpace as well. This is all part of the publication process. I hope that clarifies it for you a little. If you go to the CreateSpace site, you'll get a sense of the steps that are involved. I can't be too much more specific at the moment about how to do the uploading, as I haven't actually gone through this process before. But it appears that CreateSpace walks you through it, though.

Hello. I would like to remove a book from my author page: Guilty as Charged. This book was supposed to be published by a vanity publisher many years ago but the company closed just prior to publication. So, although the book was listed with several distributors, not a single copy was ever printed. I have since revised it and released it under the name The Guilty, which I do NOT want removed. But I'd like to not have to keep explaining to people why they can't find Guilty as Charged anywhere. Thanks.

Gabriel, since it was available for sale, we would not delete it. But I combined it with the more recent edition, which should both make it clear it's the same book and reduce its visibility (since the newer edition is the default edition).

Can I get a little help removing two books from my author page?
Secrets of Erhynvale: Children of the Eclipse (with the picture) is the only one that is published and SHOULD be there. The version without the photo double posted when I uplo aded the first version. As for The Lunar Experiments, this was a tentative title for Secrets of Erhynvale: Children of the Eclipse (ah, last minute changes!), and is no longer necessary, as it was unpublished under that name.

I've got a duplicated book in my author's page, under the title 'El carnaval de los muertos'. I've been having problems with my internet connection and I may have created three different editions by mistake. I've been trying to combine all three editions but one has de author's name wrong and I can't edit anything on it. I'd like to know if you could delete two of the editions.

Pau, the duplicate third edition has been deleted. The other two are valid and already combined.

عبد السلام, are these two user accounts, two author profiles? Without links, it's very difficult to see what's going on.

I have multiple incorrect book listings on my author page, and my newest book isn't listed correctly on the page at all. The correct title should be "A Winner's Guide to Negotiating: How Conversation Gets Deals Done". I sent an email about this issue but haven't received a response back yet from support.

I want to delete Dem Boyz in Blue from my page. I made a lot of mistakes in my very first book. I'm about to come out with another version of this book.

Rivka had added a placeholder for my book, Virginia's Ghost, before it was published, and I would like this removed now (as it shows a Kindle version, which I haven't done yet). I wish to add the published paperback version, but I tried to add it but can't seem to do so. Any help would be appreciated.

Rivka is.not always on this thread. Nor are librarians always reading something in this group. If you'll post book data issues over in the librarians group, there are several hundred librarians happy to jump on that edit request -- almost always within 15 minutes versus waiting for someone to see something here who can do something to help. Don't have to; if someone's here they may help or they may wait for Rivka (who may or may not be here).

No, I'm the one that should be apologizing if I worded that to make you feel "wrong" or " should be" anything.

I just meant it was usually fastest fix to post in librarians group and I only said something because Rivka hadn't responded in more hours than I knew the librarians would have had they seen the post. :)
