Kim (bookishkim) | 10 comments Hi, so I've read a lot of books this year about dystopic/post apocalyptic worlds, but are there any books that you recommend reading that occur DURING the apocalyptic event/the event that causes the dystopic world?

Tomorrow, When the War Began would be a good example of the kind of book I'm meaning.

Thanks!

Julia | 432 comments Not YA, but a lot of teens read it and while there are traditional novels in the series, I recommend the graphic novels in order first.
The Walking Dead, Compendium 1 and The Walking Dead, Compendium 2.

Another completely different take, a novel told from hundreds maybe not that many, but lots of POVs World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War.
