Pandemonium discussion

I think I seriously died a little at the last two pages in the book. Lena was FIALLY happy with Julien (too cute) and then Alex shows up! I have to say this was a very bittersweet moment for me because i cried when I thought he was dead and I was elated to find out that he was alive agin but at the same time, think of all the problems that will create between the three. I swear that while i read the last page I just kept saying omg omg omg omg, and then what Alex said! it seriosly broke my heart, "Don't beleive her."

I was soooo team Julian then Alex showed back up and then I was like omg, then I was like omg, then I was like omg and then I completely spazzed and cried so now I have nooooo clue whats gonna happen.

I died at the ending it broke my heart into a million pieces and made me feel a bunch of different emotions! I LOVE Alex and never lost hope that he was alive and would come back but I also started to fall for Julian so I feel bad for both of them. But mostly I feel bad for Alex (he's definitely my favorite) and he wen't through all of that--sacrificing himself for Lena and being locked up then escaping to find her with someone else! I died! I cannot imagine how he is feeling and I don't know what will happen. I hope she ends up with him but she can't just abandon Julian he knows nothing about being in the Wilds. Oh my gosh, the emotions! And when Alex said "Don't believe her" it was all over for me, I cannot recover from this until the next book comes out and Lena ends up with Alex! I cannot wait!

at the ending, i was like MY GOSH!!!! then i re-read the few paragraphs and i was like MY GOSH!!!! i think i re-read those same paragraphs for more than five times until those words finally sink in in my system.

this is going to be very very very difficult choice for Lena, to choice Alex or Julian.

When I read the last pages I was really happy for Lena she deserved to be happy. And the on the last paragraph I was like WHAT? I don't know what to think. I'm a little confused. I don't know who I like best Alex or Julian. I've read it a billion times. I have no idea how it's going to play out. I can't wait for the next book!

The last few pages tore me up too. I really liked Lena with Julian. I think they have a stronger connection and have been through more together. When Alex came back(even though I kinda figured he might not be dead) I lost it. I think he might be too damaged for Lena now. He sounds like he hates her. Ouch!

I knew he was still alive! I love Julian so much, though! I have no idea who she will choose now. I know Alex was her first love and the reason she doubted the system in the first place, but Julian has a lot more in common with her. They both had the belief drilled into their heads all their life that love was a disease. Then they had to come to terms with it not being true. That's pretty drastic. Its like finding out the flu is really a transition to get super powers. Or the chicken pox are really a turn on in another world and they had to be rid of them before extra terrestrial lifeforms started snatching up our children!

...Don't ask...

The point is, just because Alex opened her eyes doesn't mean he's all she needs to see. Besides, he was freaking DEAD to her! Of course she wasn't going to hide in a hole for the rest of her life. And its not like she went looking for a new love. It just happened. Grrr! I need the next book.

I'm torn up with the ending to this book!!! I am still rooting for Alex but I do think she is gonna end up with Julian. Simply because she has changed SO MUCH over the course of the book that she isnt the girl that Alex fell in love with... I can also understand why Alex seems so pissed at her. He has obviously been through some MAJOR hecticness since he gave himself up and as he sees her she is in the arms of another guy!! My heart literally breaks for him :(

CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK!!!

I felt emotions coursing throough my body that i didnt even know i had when i finished this book!! It was uterlly heart stopping!! I kinda knew alex was going to come back but i thought it was going to be way earlier that what happened and i did not at all think that lena was going to fall in love all over again!! but she did and i feel crazy thinking about the situation POOR ALEX!!! BUT you cant just be with him out of pitty!! but idk we'll see what happens!! CAN'T FREAKLING WAIT!!!

I HOPE HE DOESN'T HATE HER! I MEAN HE WAS DEAD! :( What was she supposed to do hide in a hole and die their. Life moves on and you've gotta find a way to move on with it!! Especially in the place she's living.

I loved this book all the way through, I was just cruising along enjoying the connection with Lena and Julian. When the last two pages appeared, I stupidly looked and scanned the last page, to only see the name "Alex". I was so mad at myself but, for which team I'm one it's kind of both for me. I mean Alex was that guy in the first book that you were really rooting for, and wanted him to be with Lena, but in the end he ending up dying and we all knew that he wasn't really dead. And hoping that in the second book that they would find each other. And Julian, I started to hate in the beginning of the book, because as soon as he was first mentioned, I knew that Lena and him would soon learn to love with each other, but I started liking him toward the end. But, if Lena left Julian for Alex, then things would just be a love triangle and Lena and Julian are kind of stuck with each other because, Julian has nothing really to go back to. But of she stayed with him then Alex, would just get angry and jealous and try to ruin their relationship. Ugh... :(

I LOVED Julian. He was innocent and sweet. But I also LOVE Alex. Alex introduced Lena to love and got her to see the world in a different way. And the poetry scene is beyond words. In a way Lena is Julian's Alex. She showed him that it is ok to love. I don't know how the next book will end, but I hope it will choose someone, not like a cliffhanger. It will probably end up as a Gale and Peeta rivalry........

I almost died when I got to the last couple pages. I loved Alex in Delirium and cried when he died, but I also LOVED Julian in Pandemonium. Alex taught her to love, without Alex she would be living a life with no love, no passion. But, then on the flip she taught Julian to love, and without her he would be cured or dead. She is all Julien has now. To me, the choice is harder than Peeta or Gale. I honestly thought that one was easy and I knew how it would end. Julien vs Alex is a hard decision, they are so different. It looks like the author is adding someone new to compete for Alex's heart, so maybe that will make the decision easier. I don't want her to break either one of their hearts!

Ahhh! I'm dying for the next book!

I did the same thing as some of you and re-read the last pages several times. I think it is really hard to say who I like best because Alex has probably changed a lot while being locked up and she even mentions how his eyes different but then again he could also distance himself easily when he was public. So i could not tell if they meant he had changed or if he was just angry/jealous.

Julian is a sweethart and even though Lena probably saved his life his whole world has been turned upside down by her. I think it would be really heart breaking for him on more than one level if Lena didn't end up with him.

But it would also be heartbreaking if she didn't end up with Alex unless he has gone cold.

I don't think it's fair that because Lena meet Alex first she should end up with him. That's not how real life goes.

I knew that Alex hadn't died!! I was just waiting for him to reappear... I hadn't thought that he would be bitter about all of it. It's been a while since I've read Delirium but didn't he tell her to go, so I don't understand why he's mad now... or is he upset because he saw her with Julian?
Ugh, this love triangle is hard for me to choose who I like better for Lena...They are both great for her.
It was easier when I had to pick between a vampire or a wolf. :)
Is there a release date for the third book?

The feels! I honestly think I didn't give Julian a chance to pull at my heart strings because Alex already did. So while reading Pandemonium I still had this little secret hope Alex was still alive. So when Julian comes along...I'm like no Lena you love Alex! Alex! I mean I liked Julian! I really did. He's so much like Lena in Delirium...and the way they describe him isn't so bad either. But throughout reading I just wanted her to be with Alex. So when he shows up at the end I'm like I knew he was still alive! I just don't know anymore...Julian or Alex?
