If you could cast your life...who would play you?

So for this week's question, let's have fun and make a movie of our lives. What kind of movie would it be....comedy, drama, sci-fi, horror??

Cast all the significant people in your life with famous people.....you MUST include yourself!!

How does one cast one's self without seeeming egotistical? Therein lies the question.

However: I'M CALLING KATE BECKINSALE TO PLAY MY WIFE! Because while it would be egotistical of me to pick a stunning actress to play me, it's being merely romantic to pick one to play my wife.

I don't know the names of any child actors that aren't out of date. So it's kind of hard to cast my daughter and my son.

For myself I'll pick Rebecca De Morney. When I was younger I used to be told that I looked like a redheaded and green eyed version of her. Who knows if it was true and no one's said it since I turned 30... which was 5 years ago. But whatever.

And my life would be an action-comedy.

For my hubby all I can think of is a younger Ron Howard. Hubby used to be teased and called Opie when he was young. My daughter is only 12. She used to resemble Lindsey Lohan in Parent Trap. But Lindsey can't hold a candle to her. My daughter is gorgeous. I will have to break out the shotguns pretty soon. lol Now for me.... hmmm, I probably look more like Kathy Bates but I want someone more gorgeous like Michelle Pheifer or Meg Ryan or Christie Brinkley. When they were a bit younger, of course.

My story would be a comedy. Maybe a romantic comedy.

My story would definitely be a drama/comedy or dramedy :). Since there have been good times and bad. As far as the cast goes...that is a tough one. For my husband I would go with Damian Lewis since he and hubby are both red heads and have similar facial structure. For myself I think Ellen Page fits the bill pretty well. We are both short with round faces. Although I am a bit heavier than her. As for my kids we would have to go with unknown child actors because they are only 6 and 4 and I can't think of anyone that really fits the bill there.

Me... I'd see Morena Baccarin (from V and Firefly). When my hair is short, I've been told we look a lot alike.

Hubby... I'd say Hugh Laurie though my husband is big an brawny. But the sardonic humor is totally him.

My mum would have to be a drama queen like Joan Collins; my dad a long-suffering bloke who would look like Eric Roberts (believe me, my dad looked like his clone at 50!). For the kid, I see Shia Labeouf during his Even Stevens days.

My life would definitely be drama/horror. I don't know who I would get to play me.....but Peter Steele from Type O Negative would definitely be my hubby :)

Oh, I just realized - Jeff Bridges in Iron Man looks exactly like my husband when he shaves his head! So that's who I'd cast :)

I was thinking a Doctor Who episode with my and my sister and the Eleventh Doctor would be great. It would be cool to go to Victorian England for a lark.
