Kara (karaayako) | 3984 comments What would you like to read for October? Our theme for the month is MONSTERS. Interpret that as you will--it can be figuratively or literally or something in between.

Please nominate only one theme-appropriate book. You can second someone else's nomination, but that will count as your own.

This thread will close on September 12th. Ten books will be chosen for the poll. If more than ten books are nominated, we'll choose the ten most nominated. If there is a tie to get into the top ten, we'll go by their Goodreads average rating.

Ashley Quite alright. I have never read Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde but have heard good things about it! :)

Is a book that will make you think a lot, if read it with an open mind.
