I've just done a bit of combining for the works of this poet, but I don't know enough languages to have an idea of whether it's all sorted. There are: Arabic, Greek (original), Polish, Italian, French, Spanish, German on there as well as English translations.
At the moment, some of the primary names for the works are in English, and some in other languages.

ETA: There are also several different versions of the author's name in use incl Konstantinos Kavafis, K.P. Kavaphes, Costantino Kavafis, Konstandinos Kawafis, relating to spellings in different languages. http://www.goodreads.com/author/list/...

I added all the missing information for the German books...

But I can't really figure out why there are to columns with "Complete Poems" or something like that.

As far as the name policy goes... there has to be C.P. Cavafy on every book first, to get them properly combined.

I think I'm going to cross-post this somewhere as I'm not sure what to do about all the author name variations.

You let the name in the different translations be... just put C.P. Cavafy as the first author. This way the books can be found by People from every country... in many different spellings.
