This was a fun book! I thought Daemon was rude at first but I knew he was trying to protect his family and his alien secret. When Daemon and Katy finally make out and the lap top blows it was so hot! I loved Dee. She was nice and fun.

Oh yes I almost forgot! One of my favorite things about Katy is her love for books and blogging! When she talks about going to the mail for ARCs and making her waiting on Wednesday post! Loved it!

Yes I liked that Katy stood up to Daemon. Even though you could tell she liked him she didn't let him get away with his rude attitude. Dee was cute and very hyper. Daemon was mean but I did like that he was so protective of his sister.

Daemon i love you !!!!!!!!!! ♥♥♥
Kate - blogger - books (ok it's me jaja)
Dee is very sweet
All the book it's so amazing!!!!!! Ok i'm obsessed yeah

Katy had a "real" personality. She was never one way or another. I felt true emotions through her character.
Daemon was fantastic. I loved how he came around and stopped fighting his prejudices.

I definitely recommend this to everyone! Whether you're stuck on some book, bored out of your mind, or just looking for a book to read, this is it. THIS IS IT
LOL It was actually the aliens that made me want to read this. I loved the show Roswell. This has a few similarities so I really loved it. I like the powers they have. The evil dark aliens seem really creepy.

I'm only on chapter eight but Daemon is so nasty, I'm finding it hard to believe Katy would want to spend any more time with him. No matter how cute he is, when he talks to her like she's worthless, I think she'd kick him to the curb. I'll keep reading though because everyone says it makes sense later. :)

ack i couldn't even continue watching roswell. i felt like every episode i watched was kissing only. but, i did like the main concept of the story >.< can't believe im not the only one who watched that show!

Lotsa people are different, and in Katy's case, she doesn't even really want to spend time with Daemon. He just sort of pops out everywhere. I think you will love this book!

Yeah I agree there really is no good excuse for being a jerk. Daemon was funny and I did end up liking him but he isn't anywhere near my top 10 or anything. He was more likable in Onyx but I understood Katy wanting to move on away from him.

Well said.

lol yeah the next book is like that a bit! Daemon wants her but Katy does make him suffer.

ditto jamie..

yep! i have read all 3 parts and can't count how many times have i read them all.
Yes Opal was a killer! I really loved Daemon in Opal though. He was super sweet and romantic where in the other two he drove me crazy. lol

I loved Obsidian. What I loved most about it was that it wasn't an Insta-Love romance. They didn't see each other and knew instantly they had to be together. Still, you felt the chemistry between the two. Daemon Black is my book crush and Kat was a refreshing change from many of the heroines in some of the YA books I've read recently.
Opal was probably my favorite! I hate insta-love but it was nice to finally see Katy and Daemon working together as a great team in Opal. But the ending :-( I need the next book desperately! I am also excited to get both Katy and Daemon's POV in the next one.
Starting over sucks.
When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I'd pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring.... until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.
And then he opened his mouth.
Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something...unexpected happens.
The hot alien living next door marks me.
You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon's touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I'm getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.
If I don't kill him first, that is.
How did you like Daemon? Sweet or mean or both? lol Dee? Katy? Leave your thoughts!
