Unapologetic_Bookaholic | 2002 comments I did not even HAVE a #10. Thanks =). I'll shuffle it around if/when needed.

ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) seems #10 was giving alot of people problems to fill, which was why I thought of it.

Kasia Wow! Good!

I just realized that this challenge is till end of April. But bunch of us are either done or close to being done...

So, just a reminder for those who forgot about this challenge: to the end of April.

message 66: by Yz the Whyz, Moderator (new)

Yz the Whyz (whyz) | 9327 comments Good reminder there, Kasia.

I'm actually launching two other challenges in the next couple of weeks as extra choices for those who like doing other challenges.

ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) I've still got at least half of it to go. lol

Unapologetic_Bookaholic | 2002 comments I need some flower/plant suggestions.

I am thinking of reading Mr. Hands (horror) for the body part book.

Kasia Kenjii wrote: "I need some flower/plant suggestions.

Oh, that horror book sounds creeeeepyy (as it probably should). As far as plants go, I had problems with that myself. Feel free to nick whatever's on my list, but I cannot thing of anything else right now... Sorry :(

Unapologetic_Bookaholic | 2002 comments Kasia Check out the cover Mr. Hands by Gary A. Braunbeck

message 71: by Kasia (new)

Kasia Gosh! I see what you mean!

message 72: by ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (last edited Apr 05, 2009 11:26AM) (new)

ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) I can do better with a plant or flower on the cover than I can in the title. I have the entire Janet Daily Americana series I'm working my way through very slowly. They took her old (40 year old) harlequin romance books, one written for each state, and republished them as a set. When they printed the new set, they put the state flowers on each cover.

Only book I have with an actual flower in the title, is A Lotus Grows in the Mud by Goldie Hawn, her autobiography. Gotta be in the right mood to read that one.

message 73: by Kasia (new)

Kasia So true, Briansgirl... With that category, it seems like it would be easy, but no.

ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) would .... 204 Rosewood Lane ..... work? Rose is in there. lol

I did a search of my shelves for "rose". Nora Roberts In the Garden trilogy would work. Along with Julie Garwoods For the Roses trilogy. But I was gonna read this one above anyway so hope it works.

message 75: by Kasia (new)

Kasia Hey, I'm using The Poisonwood Bible, try telling me it's not gonna work and I'll get really angry. But in short, to me: yes it works. No need to be to strict about it...

ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) good. That means I can work the first 3 books of that series into this challenge. 16 Lighthouse Road works for the building. 204 Rosewood lane works for the flower, and 311 Pelican court works for number in the title. The authors name works for M so putting book 4 (of this 8 book series) on the read the month for May next month.

message 77: by Kasia (new)

Kasia Ha! Good news, Briansgirl. I love when things just work out like that.

ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) It's just after reading book 7 now of another 8 book series by the same author, I need a break before starting another series to read straight through. So I'll read other April challenge books and hold off til near the end of the month to start those.

message 79: by Kasia (new)

Kasia Oh, I didn't realize that's series!

And Briansgirl, I get it series wear me out too ;)

message 80: by ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (last edited Apr 05, 2009 06:55PM) (new)

ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) I'm finishing the Heart of Texas series by Debbie Macomber. She originally wrote 6. Then after requests from fans, wrote two more. Of the 8, I have one left now having finished book 7 tonight.

The new series I'll start is her Cedar Cove series. Every title is an address, each starting numberically....

16 Lighthouse Road
204 Rosewood Lane
311 Pelican Court
44 Cranberry Point
50 Harbor Street
Hearts Divided Anthology (5-B Popply Lane)
6 Rainier Drive
74 Seaside Avenue
8 Sandpiper Way
A Cedar Cove Christmas

And she's been contracted for at least 4 more books I think. She asked readers to write in and suggest what she should do with the numbered books once she reaches 10+. She has a map I printed off from her website showing the town and where all the houses and common city buildings are.

message 81: by Kasia (new)

Kasia Sounds a bit like something Montgomery would write and all the Anne books have special place in my heart... :)

Jael ~ *~ Syhren ~* ~ (wwwgoodreadscomprofilejael) Oh wow I forgot I posted for this challenge I've only read one book. *shamed*

message 83: by Yz the Whyz, Moderator (new)

Yz the Whyz (whyz) | 9327 comments LOL...no worries..

I doubt if I'll finish this challenge myself, although I'm keeping my fingers crossed..

message 84: by Kasia (new)

Kasia Nice work Shazzy!

Jael, I'm sure some of the books you've read could cover a category for this challenge, or two...

Jael ~ *~ Syhren ~* ~ (wwwgoodreadscomprofilejael) Great Idea ! now I have to see what fits.

Jael ~ *~ Syhren ~* ~ (wwwgoodreadscomprofilejael) Of all the book I'm reading this month only one fits. LOL and when my comp was down I didn't read but two books and they don't fit bummer. I'll just add these books to my reading list as a reminder.

ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) Jael wrote: "Oh wow I forgot I posted for this challenge I've only read one book. *shamed*"

That's why I put a copy of all my challenges under my own reading thread. I can't forget one that way and they are easy to find and update. I just have to remember to repost to the correct thread now and then to update here.

Jael ~ *~ Syhren ~* ~ (wwwgoodreadscomprofilejael) yeah that's what I just started to do. I'ts much easier that way.
