BTW, thanks for the Cinder rec. Liked it.
Scarlet should be good too. Is it out already?

Yay! I hope you like Destiny Bind, as I loved the series and the book :)
Cinder's awesome, and Scarlet came out this months! I already have it :)

It's for another group I'm in, so I am going to finish it so I can participate in the discussion. But I think it might take me several sessions. =)

Really, when you ask something like that I just have to ask. So?

LOL, I know what you mean! He distracted me with Destiny Binds so I forgot all about it though :P

Well... first of all here is the book

Overall it was a fun read though, with action, mystery, fantasy, and some humor.

And on a related note, I finished

I like the series. I guess I'll finish it before moving on to something else.

LOL I feel like that so often!!

Although the first book I finished in 2013 was Cutting for Stone

As a palatte cleanser I read a children's book Ties That Bind, Ties That Break

At first I wasn't enjoying The Casual Vacancy

Then I read Never Let Me Go

So I have turned to Jasper Fforde and have reread The Eyre Affair

They are all laugh out loud funny while making you think and Thursday Next is one of my favourite protagonists.
Those are a lot of books, Esther!
I think the choice to read only books you want is a really good one. Often, when you read a book because you should, it effects your reading experience.

Read (and loved) the first 2 books of the series! Can't wait to find out what will happen to Chloe and Derek!

I heard good things about Kelley Armstrong.
I started

I also loved Beautiful Disaster. I pre-ordered Walking Disaster, which is coming out next month!
I just finished

Love Neil Gaiman. Haven't read that one yet, but love the movie. Hope you enjoy it.
I loved the movie as well. But I saw it a long time ago, and I get flashbacks of it when I read parts of the book, suddenly going all "Oh, right! I remember this part from the movie!" which is kind of odd to me. I usually read books before watching their movie.

Thanks, Jon! I think you can read my mind :D I was just going to ask how I should add it :D
I finished all 3 the books and I'm wondering if there will be a 4th book coming out... The story doesn't seem to be finished yet.
Right now I'm reading

The perfect book on this rainy day! I'm from Belgium and I love our little Belgian friend with his little grey cells ;)

Christie is another UA* I haven't read yet but always wanted to. My dad used to say 'You haven't read Agatha Christie? I don't believe that'
Poirot seems like a great character.
*Uber-Author, a term we coined in this group!
Are there any UAs you always wanted to read?

Christie is one of my favourite authors, I have all her books, but because I can't read an actual book anymore, I haven't read them in a long time anymore. Now I have an e-reader and I bought al her books in e-book and and am reading them again.
So I can say Christie is my UA. Are there any other UAs? Hmmm, let me think... let me think real hard... No... I love a lot of authors, but I can read the books of Christie a 100 times without getting bored, I don't have that with other authors. I usually read a book one time and that's enough for me. Agatha Christie on the other hand is like the first cup of coffee in the morning ;-)

I love historical fiction, I love the books of Lynn Austin and I love the movie 'Gone with the wind' and this book has a similar story (so far), so I'm looking forward to read the rest of the book later today and I can't wait to see what will happen in part II and III.

I have about 300 here in Goodreads, and about the same on my real shelves at home. And many more books I never bothered to put on my shelves but I know I want to read. If I actually marked all the books I wanted to read on my goodreads shelves, I'll have about 1800 ~wink~

But I think I will have to remove some of them... I have done some calculating and if I read 200 books a year and don't add any books to my list anymore it will take me at least 10 year to read these books :-s And it is impossible for me not to add any more books, so, I'll better remove some of them if I will ever get to the end of my list :)
On my Kobo I've got about... 500 books I haven't read. And on my Cloud reader another 500. And on GR 300, and home 200 or so... so, I guess I DO have as much as you do or so.
But yeah, do a screening of what you really think you will real and what not, because it is impossible not to add any more :)

Well, I didn't dislike Slammed, per-se, I just thought it was going to be so much more based on the countless 5 star reviews from my friends...
But I am disliking this second book. I'll finish it cause those are fast books but... MAJOR disappointment!
