Hades discussion

I enjoyed getting to know Jake but I thought that making almost the entire book about him was a bit OTT.
I do really love the series though!

I love Hades. The whole series is great. Dunno why some don't like it.

I haven't read it because there have been a crazy amount of reviews ridiculing the book. I don't want to end the series on a bad note.

Trust me its not a bad book!! I cried it was amazing :) I even talked to the author about it Had to tell her how good it was read it !

I love the whole series.
If you don't like don't read and stop talking about it forget about it and let those how do like read it and talk about it. I liked it it wasn't as good as the first book but I still liked it. I just don't get why people who don't like a book have to keep going on and on about it.

I thought I was the only one.
I like the start and ending of the book but the part where she gets kidnap was utterly boring. No offence to people who likes it, we all have different opinions but I wasn't interested and I kept skipping.
The series are great but Hades wasn't my favourite.

In my opinion, I thought it was the best book in the series!

Mine was the first :) (halo) but they're all pretty good

I agree with you on your out look on Oujia Boards. I think this book is based purely on Christianity even though she called hell Hades (I think she didn't research). Her view of god, the archangels etc is super Christain. I thought Oujia Boards were considered occult activity and evil in Christianity.

Lol I find myself siding with the enemy, I am so used to the good wins etc. And people make the good guys so flat and cliche (not that Jake wasn't the cliche greaser in the 21st century lol).

I read the first book because I heard so many good comments about it, but the story just couldn't get me... I struggled through the first book, started the first pages of the second one, but I just put it away. And now I'm happy to read I'm not the only one who didn't like it!

Hades sucked ass. One of the worst books I've ever read.

It was a mostly stupid book. I read it purely to rant about it later.

I loved the shit out of these series, all of them had love mystery, action, everything. hades was great! I would like to see you guys even try to write a novel this good.....

I liked it because it brought out how Jake really is because when he was in Earth he just made himself look bad but in Hades you can see that he really likes Beth. And Hades brought out how Xavier would really be like if Beth was never found. Sometimes, in my opinion, the negative brings out how the world would be like without them. ( I know confusing wording)

It was an okay book but boring and annoying because Bethany is just not a believable angel.

I have no idea why so many people hated this series ._. I've only started the first one and I already love it. WHY DO SO MANY PEOPLE OPENLY HATE IT AND TELL PEOPLE NOT TO READ IT LIKE UHH

I'll admit,the second and third books of the series are not as good as the first one but they did NOT suck. whats wrong with it?

Huh. Kind of late to the party, but I'll say this:
1. Not everybody has the same taste in books
2. From quotable examples, this book has objectively poor grammar, questionable style, and flat, generic characters and incredibly ineffectual angels
3. Romance = can't do shit without SO
4. I don't even care anymore, that's all YA seems to be -____-
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion (excepting some of the more basic grammar-related stuff) and although one may not personally see anything to like about something, others might, and vice versa. People will review poorly because this series has lots and lots of problems. And they do. *claps enthusiastically*

In my opinion this was a great book and I loved it!!!! It was such a great novel I just loved it :)

Late but, I pretty much hated this book too because

1. As a big fan of mythology, the title killed me

2. Lady Adornetto's idea of hell is basically goths, rock, sex, sex workers, and other things that the Evangelical Christians declared as evil

3. Bethany Chruch's friend was sent to hell for literally the stupidest of reasons
