UK Amazon Kindle Forum discussion

I thought I might start (weave?) a thread about my new Review Blog. It has my five star Indie Author reviews with labels down the side so you can find an author. Each time I give a 5* review I'll paste it on to the blog and mention it here.

I hope it will help readers who share my love of good Indie fiction to find books to enjoy. I also hope it will help good Indie authors to get a little bit more publicity. All the links go through the group store.

The two most recent are of books by by Lexie Conyngham and Will MacMillan Jones.

No, I ahven't got the latest version of Serpent - did you see the to-do-ment I had with Amazon about them saying they'd send it, then charging me, then not sending it. So I cancelled that order and they removed the original too! I was going to wait till my account had settled down and re-order - but if you're offering?

I have mentioned the Fahrenheit 451 thing to a few people, Karen! But what else would I call it? They are books which ignite my enthusiasm.

Also Ignite means Kindle and they are all Kindle books.

Oh I do burn everything.
The oven doesn't help - I got a thermometer and it is way out of tune with the numbers on the little button, so the oven is too hot. That is why it is taking me less time to burn things now than it used to.

Have you thought of linking your blog to a facebook page like Joo has? Might give even more visabilty. Not sure how you do that, I expect Joo can explain. I've linked a page to my shop of Etsy but I can't use that experience to work out how to do that with a blog because the software tools were already built in..

Ignite doesn't 'do' Facebook.

Shame that. I could spend all day poking at her.

That's EXACTLY why I don't 'do' facebook!

Edit so say it's in the blog ring though.

I had the option of adding a gadget through which readers could share to twitter and facebook but it also linked to something else - something I wasn't fussed about - and I couldn't separate that one out.
Might go back and add that one?
