If you looked at the page you'd see why it wouldn't work on Goodreads. If you want to sell books, you have to go over and above what is easy and obvious.

Yes, you do need a blog to participate. The idea is that authors post each other's books on their blogs.

If an author has a personal reason and lets me know why they do not post a book, I don't penalize them. In addition, all posts are required to be Rated G for all viewers so everyone feels free to post.
