What are you reading?

Yeah, it's really easy while your still reading it. That's for sure. There are those books I read that don't really stick out in my mind. Those are generally the titles I occasionally add to my read list when I see someone talk about or something triggers a memory. For example, I think I've probably read almost all of Koontz's stuff but some of those books just seem to run together. Frankly, I think that says more about his writing than my memory though, lol.

I think I'll read The Time Keeper tomorrow. Right now I need to catch up with Dustin o..."
Wow, you're flying through them Chuck!

Yeah, but they're 200-300 page "books."

"14" was one of my favorites from last year!

Awesome! :D

It was okay. Some parts were good but some parts dragged. I thought the subplot dealing with Archie and Gretchen was much more interesting than the main storyline.

Only for a little while, Joyland will be out soon! :)

did you find out anything about those old books?

I haven't been able to find much at all. I'd love to know more about them though!

Definitely looking forward to Joyland!

That's great to know. Thanks, Lee! It definitely sounds interesting. Have you also read Gone Girl? Did you like it?
Rachel, would you like to do a buddy read of Gone Girl? I'm a little hesitant to join a buddy read because of my class schedule but I'm game to give it a shot if you are. No pressure though! :)

Definitely looking forward to Joyland!"
I'm really enjoying Gatsby, I think it is so beautifully written. I only have about 30 pages to go and I'm looking forward to finding out how it's going to end. I think Leonardo is going to make a great Gatsby.

Rachel, I know you weren't asking me, but when do you plan on doing the Gone Girl read? I have it, and am planning to read it soon.

That's great! The more the merrier. :) My schedule is pretty open so I'm ready whenever you guys are. I'll start a thread for it.
Enjoy the read guys. I am gonna read it sometime, but of course I have to get the book lol. It wont be for awhile though for me.

I have not read Gone Girl, but see a lot of people have read it lately, I have it on my TBR list. If you want to do a buddy read on it, just let me know and I will be glad to do it.
Hey J.S How do you like Burn? I always see the book at the UBS but I always grab one of his others first. LOL

This one's kind of odd, but Ted is odd, so I suppose that goes without saying. Some mysterious things happen in the beginning that I suspect won't be explained for awhile.

I am sure that it's utterly brilliant, J.S!! Enjoy.:)
Hey JS and Dustin, have either of you read The Pawn, by Steven James? It was recommended from my Dekker shelf. It sounds fabulous!

That's what I'm reading right now...

I can't remember squat 2 years later let alone 20 years. Maybe while I read i could remember but just because I see titles of the books when I pick them up. Memory has never been a strong suit with stuff like that. I can remember things that require numbers or passwords, but that it about the extent of it. I must discuss a book while it is fresh in my mind. I can remember if I like a book or not, but not so much of what I read.
