I never read Rosemary's baby. I think it is sposed to be scary though Kathryn.

It is. If you never saw the movie, starring Mia Farrow; then you both are in for a treat. I have never read the book and hopefully it will be even better. Only thing is, anything that has to do with evil; i.e. The devil, a la Exorcist; i get really freaked out. I may end up sleeping with the light on... :O

LOL I never got myself comfortable enough to watch the movie. But if I find this book, then maybe afterwards I will watch. I know what you mean about movies with devil, exorcism and the like. I had nightmares when I watched the Exorcist years ago.

Just started Dearie: The Remarkable Life of Julia Child. Also reading a memoir by Paul Auster, Winter Journal. And a cookbook, The Meatball Shop Cookbook. Still working on 1Q84--reading very slowly since buddy read doesn't start till 11/01.

I love Laymon. After reading Island, I went and got almost all of his books. I started The Traveling Vampire Show last night. His writing ..."


Chuck The Traveling Vampire show is one of my favorites! I love Laymon myself! I like most of his books except for Bite that one was pretty dumb.
