message 151: by Jalyn (new)

Jalyn (jalynnie) | 3827 comments Of course Vicki!

So when works for you two? I can start anytime :)

message 152: by Vicki (new)

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 2302 comments I can start any time as well! I just finished The Edge of Never. Does this one count for the winter white challenge?

message 153: by Jalyn (new)

Jalyn (jalynnie) | 3827 comments Oh yay! Maybe today or tomorrow depending on what Tayla has going on? I put it on my currently reading shelf before I thought to ask if anyone else wanted to read it and then I saw this. I haven't started it yet though :)

Yes, I was already given the ok from Greta for Unwind as a white book:)

message 154: by Vicki (new)

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 2302 comments Ok, I'm in!

message 155: by Heather (new)

Heather | 135 comments Vicki wrote: "I can start any time as well! I just finished The Edge of Never. Does this one count for the winter white challenge?"

Lol - it's totally grey, not white!

message 156: by Vicki (new)

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 2302 comments Heather, I don't understand MANY of the "white" approves books, but I'm going with the mods' decisions. I think white should be white, but if they approved this as white, I'll count it.

Join us!! :)

message 157: by Jonababez (new)

Jonababez | 2453 comments Because some are very confusing! Sorry, it's very hard for us too! LOL! :)

message 158: by Jalyn (last edited Jan 07, 2013 10:31AM) (new)

Jalyn (jalynnie) | 3827 comments Mine looks white and blue. I think it's supposed to be a fingerprint (blue) with the shadow of a person (white) behind it and showing through? I think it qualifies for 40% white.

message 159: by Vicki (new)

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 2302 comments Jalyn, I go with the flow, and if the mods said it is white enough, that's good enough for me.

When are we starting?

Oh - I was saying The Edge of Never by J.A. Redmerski is grey, not Unwind (Unwind, #1) by Neal Shusterman :)

Tayla Potayta (taylapotayta) | 3057 comments I'm halfway through my current book so I might be able to start... Lets say tomorrow just in case?

message 162: by Jalyn (new)

Lol, my bad. I'm so glad you weren't talking about Unwind! My husband teases me all the time about me not seeing colors correctly. I was afraid he was right for a minute there. I seriously sat here looking at my copy trying to see grey. Lol :P

message 168: by Tayla (new)

Tayla Potayta (taylapotayta) | 3057 comments Feel free to start it

I've already read The Name of the Star, but I'll join you when you read The Madness Underneath. If you can't find anyone to read TNotS with you then I'll re-read it with you if you can wait a week or two. I still have to catch up on all of my buddy reads from February, but I have nothing going on for a while so I should be able to read my other books fast. But if nobody else wants to read it and you can't wait then I understand :)

message 180: by Sarah Elizabeth (new)

Sarah Elizabeth (bookworm_sarah) | 90931 comments Mod
I can wait, I have loads of books I need to catch up on too, you don't have to re-read the first one if you don't want to though - don't feel forced!

Be prepared for the third book's ending. Opal leaves you in pieces. How everything can go to hell in 1 page I'll never know.

message 182: by Mishma (new)

Mishma Okay,since we've passed the date,how about tomorrow?The 4th?

message 183: by Greta (new)

Greta (goodreadsgreta) | 4545 comments Red Solo Cup wrote: "Is the third book the last one?"

No..there's another book coming out in August, I think.

message 184: by Mishma (new)

Mishma No,there are two books after Opal.

message 185: by Sabine (new)

Sabine Sorendo (sabinet) Hey!

message 186: by Leigh (new)

Leigh (leighsalv) Im up for the Fallen series! I have the first two books sitting on my shelf for quite some time now.

message 187: by Leigh (new)

Leigh (leighsalv) When would you guys like to start? :D

message 188: by Sabine (new)

Sabine Sorendo (sabinet) Great!
I have all the books standing in my shelf for quite a long time too! And they're not even mine, they're my moms friends, haha.
I'm thinking.. Maybe around April 15th?

message 189: by Leigh (new)

Leigh (leighsalv) @Sabine: that's perfect! I'll go check if there's already a thread for it and if not I'll go ahead and make one.

message 190: by Leigh (new)

Leigh (leighsalv) yay :) the thread is up

message 191: by Mishma (new)

Mishma Anyone up for the Blue Bloods (Blue Bloods, #1) by Melissa de la Cruz series?

message 192: by Danie (new)

Danie (heyydanie) | 146 comments I need some motivation to read the Mortal Instruments series, AND the Infernal Devices series. Anyone want to read them with me?

message 193: by Mei (last edited Apr 28, 2013 09:23AM) (new)

Mei (meijey) | 3810 comments Danie wrote: "I need some motivation to read the Mortal Instruments series, AND the Infernal Devices series. Anyone want to read them with me?"

I need it too. The City of Bones and Clockwork Angel have been in my TBR pile for so long but I don't know if I want to really read it. I'll join you Danie. :) By the way, there's already a thread for The Mortal Instruments.

message 194: by Tati (new)

Tati I'm up for the Infernal Devices. I had started Clockwork Angel, but for some reason I put it on hold (it's not because it's bad or anything, I just wasn't in the mood for it).

I already have it, so I can start whenever you like :)

message 195: by Mei (new)

Mei (meijey) | 3810 comments Okay Tatiana, I'm up for it. I already have it, too. Is there a required number of people that will join before we can officially create the thread?

message 196: by Tati (new)

Tati Nope, as soon as you have at least one person to read it with you, you're good to go.

message 197: by Mei (new)

Mei (meijey) | 3810 comments Okay, so when do we start?

message 198: by Tati (new)

Tati Could we start tomorrow?

message 199: by Danie (new)

Danie (heyydanie) | 146 comments Infernal Devices sounds great. I've got the first one somewhere in my "book bins" (moved a couple months ago, have too many books to unpack them). I can start whenever you guys want.

message 200: by Mei (last edited Apr 28, 2013 09:44AM) (new)

Mei (meijey) | 3810 comments I'm okay for tomorrow. Actually, whenever :)

By the way, the mods said that we need at least two to three days prior to the start date to create the thread, so I'm guessing we can't start reading tomorrow yet?
