Congrats on creating your audiobook! I've been thinking of following that route. How did you go about creating it?

Very cool. I'm becoming a big fan of audiobooks I'll have to keep an eye out for sales and such.

I'd be interested in hearing how the process went, too. Expensive?

Expensive? No. The process was smooth and enjoyable. And if you'd like your own audiobook, all you gotta do is go here:

You post a brief few pages from your book and let the talent start auditioning. Listen to them, pick the one you like the best, then decide if you want to pay the talent outright or if you and the narrator can work out a "split the profits" kind of deal. It's all on the site, and it's really easy.

Then say "Thank you Amazon" for constantly creating ways for independent authors to expand and grow. Oh, and save a little thanks for your ol' pal Chuck by picking up a copy of Firecracker at Audible.com.
