Almeta (menfrommarrs) | 11460 comments Gaeta1 and Almeta are interested in discussing The Celery Stalks at Midnight (Bunnicula, #3) by James Howe , the third in the Bunnicula series.

Come join us!

Almeta (menfrommarrs) | 11460 comments So that I can get the benefit of reading it on two levels, I am going to read it during October Toppler Week.

I don't know if Gaeta has made the decision yet.

I read Bunnicula a looong time ago. Am reading the first and second in the series again, so that I'll be ready during the Toppler week.

Should be fun!

Almeta (menfrommarrs) | 11460 comments Looks as though some of us are reading it.

After having read the second book in the series, I was glad to get back to the Bunnicula side of the story with Chester and Harold. Somehow a vampire bunny is just more charming than a werewolf Dachshund.

(view spoiler)

Debra (debra_t) | 6542 comments I'm going to be listening to the first 2 books in this series before I get to Celery. Will join in when I get to it!

BTW, Almeta, before you get confused. I turned the series that YOU'D checked out back to the library. I just put it on MY list to reserve it for me. I had decided I wasn't going to listen to it, but today I changed my mind. Fickle, I know!

April | 970 comments I still need to do my review for this book. As a teacher, I saw so many potential "teachings" in this book. Also, 3 rd graders would LOVE the humor. Even though it was published in the 80s, it still applied for today. I thought it was cute, funny, And appropriate. I loved it. If I were still teaching, this book would be a read aloud.
