Lynnm | 923 comments Since we have a bit of time until our first "reboot" read, I thought we might have three mini-discussions during October:

Week of October 7 - In order to reintroduce members to the group, we can discuss the following questions: How did you become interested in the environment? What environmental issues are important to you?

Week of October 14 - The "tiny house" movement is getting a lot of press. What are tiny houses? Why are they important? Will tiny houses ever take hold in American society? How can we make the idea of downsizing attactive to the average American?

Week of October 22 - Watch the TED Talk video posted on youtube of Carl Honore's "In Praise of Slowness." What is the Slow Movement? How is the Slow Movement connected to environmentalism? How can the Slow Movement help even those not interested in the environment?

I will post threads at the start of each week's discussions.
