I had cover up when I added it but was a problem and I had to go back and always forget that they strip out the cover when that happens... *sigh* Thanks!

I was confused for a second there. Followed the link and I saw all the editions were correct, and after seeing the word "merge"... Anyway, cover added and combined.

I added a Kindle edition - was it in there? Maybe someone else already merged them...

Sweet... Sorry for the confusion - I guess someone else had merged them already. Or does it just take awhile when you click the "add an edition" for it to show up with the rest of the editions? I always thought they had to be physically merged...

Merging and combining are two different things here. Combining is to make books different editions of the same work, what is what you wanted. Merging is deleting an edition were the people who have shelved the book are moved to an other edition.
