This is the only reason I'm looking forward to seeing the movie. It will be even better if you and Sherry can go so we can dish together.

yeah!

what barry said.

I think I'll wait until it's on TV.
We did go to two movies in the last month: Argo(very good) and Skyfall, James Bond. I've been a Bond fan since the first movie, Dr. No, when I was a teen. Even rode my bicycle over two miles to get pics of the Astin Martin, guns, ejection seat, phone while it was on display at the strip center for the promotion of Goldfinger.

We three were in agreement on this. Leave your preconceived notions of Reacher at the door and you'll be fine, if you enjoy action/adventure movies. I think even Sherry's DH, who had not read the books, enjoyed it.
Half the fun of seeing it was comparing notes on it together over dinner. We also saw a year's worth of previews for upcoming films, some worth watching, others not so much.

Not Lorraine, but my favorite Bond was Roger Moore. The first Bond movie I ever saw was Live & Let Die. And I still don't really care much for the the Sean Connery movies! I also really liked Pierce Brosnan. Can't get on board with Daniel Craig.

DH thinks he'd like to see the Reacher movie, so maybe we'll go.

For me, my Bond is a toss-up between Roger Moore and Sean Connery. Connery in Diamonds are Forever and Moore in Live and Let Die -- the first two Bond movies I saw.

I didn't like any of the follow-ups, although I thought even when he was in Remington Steele that Pierce Brosnan was the obvious choice to take up the mantle. I think he did a passable job.
I think Daniel Craig is doing an outstanding job, despite my initial misgivings of him as not being the type. However, not sure I like the new Bond, who flips between being angst-ridden and Jason-Bourne-machine-like. But the movies are still an entertaining thrill ride, and my heart always skips a beat when the opening sequences of the movie and the theme begin.

A top ten list that has full length clips! I can't disagree with most of the selections. Especially top choices Live and Let Die (Wings) and of course Goldfinger and A View to a Kill (Duran Duran)

It was a kick hearing Tom Jones. I love his voice.
And I got to see almost all the boys... Sean, Pierce and Daniel in particular.

#1 Sean Connery
#2 Pierce Bronson
#3 Daniel Craig (slowly creeping up on the #2 position)
Spoiler alert: we won't be seeing Judy Densch anymore.
