My 3rd quarter 5 Star report :)

This quarter I was disappointed by authors I can usually depend on to provide me with awesomesauce reads & sequels that were shitty in comparison to their predecessors. I'm hoping the rest of 2012 will be better because right now the only thing that's keeping me from losing my shit is my love of great reads.

I'll have to move Allison Hewitt up on my list, Laura. Glad to hear you liked it so much. I also have #2. Have you seen that one?

I normally have a boat-load of 5★ reads each quarter, but only a few this time:


Some of those were between 4.5-5★-reads for me, so I bumped up to 5 when I rated them.

I don't usually read children's books but Ivan blew me away. The Immortal Beloved books were also a surprise hit but then they were rec'd to me by the same person as Ivan.

The Turbulence books are free from Smashswords, I think.

Ames, your list reminded me that I have to read #2, Darkness Falls. I loved the first one.

I'm wondering, Laura, is that a series that will feature a new character in each book w/no connect to the first?

I don't know, but it seems like there is no Allison as a main character :( there will be Sadie. I would like to see what else happens to Allison.
