For anybody who remembers seeing that intro growing you may get excited about this bit a news. They announced a few days ago that they're trying to bring it back as a 1 hour drama entitled Phoenix Rising. They posted this video to go along with the announcement

I'm very happy for Captain Power fans though. :)

Graeme Ellis (kapt_kipper) | 65 comments You know I like that show. It had real potential even dumbed down for the age range that it was. As a more mature reboot it could attract my attention again. Now if they would only do a reboot of Space: Above and Beyond I'd be happy.

Rasnac | 336 comments I must say I'm excited about this. And I hope they include Blastarr and Soaran in the reboot. They were the first CGI characters I have ever seen on TV.

Thurman (thurmanj) | 146 comments I never even heard of this. But it sound interesting.

I did think of Captain Planet too. That would be a good movie too.

Edit: Maybe Captain Planet wouldn't be a great movie. It is 2 formulaic. I can't think of any plot that would make sense

Procrastinador Diletante I loved this show, I'm pretty sure I still have the pocket calendars somewhere and I had a huge poster in my room, until 4 years ago when I finally admitted it was too worn.

Hope they do this!

P.S. - Space: Above and Beyond was awesome. I have it on dvd. Fox cancelling good shows since forever :P
