The Mark of Athena (The Heroes of Olympus, #3) The Mark of Athena question

Are the love triangles getting on anyone's nerves?

There aren't that many love triangles, people. I'll admit, there was a bit of Piper/Jason/Reyna in the beginning, but Jason made it pretty clear that he and Reyna didn't even date and that he chose Piper. The only prominent one in MoA was Leo/Frank/Hazel, and that's it.

They are annoying. These books shouldn't be focused on romance.

Micaela, I won't be surprised if you're a demigod.

It's great to have romance, why do you think all books have it?if you are a boy, you might not understand as well as a girl, at least with Annabeth,Reyna,Hazel and Piper

Uh huh, come on, those lovy stuff don't happen naturally. Take a glance at Octavian

The romance pretty much clogs up most of the HOO books.

The romances in this series has been getting on my nerves since The Lost Hero.

Yes

"Are the love triangles getting on anyone's nerves?"

- Not nearly as much as all the fans that obsess over the relationships.

The love triangles in this book aren't as bad as in some other books I've been reading lately. At leas these "love triangles" aren't super intense. But yeah, I get where you're coming from... Love triangles are getting pretty annoying.

Theres only really one love triangle and thats with frank hazle and Leo but you can tell that hazle won't fall for Leo and the one with Piper Jason and Ryana doesn't seem to really exsist either. (sorry about my spelling I horrid at spelling)

*raises hand* Hazel is not worthy for Leo, and he doesn't care for her that way. So I hate that triangle.

Love triangles are... UGH! But Rick can make them (Somewhat) enjoyable.

I actually for the first time in a young adult did not mind the triangle bc he wrote it with some common sense. I only felt leo/hazel/frank were in a triangle but hazel i believe has stronger feelings for frank although i like her with leo. The feelings she has for each r pretty clear and not written so over the top where it becomes sickening to read and ruins the adventure whuch usually occurs in most ya books. IMO reyna isnt in the book enough to have a triangle with piper/jason or percy/annabeth. Although i wish she was bc i find her much more interesting than piper

Amy Schulenberg Totally true.

Three love triangles??? I'm quite sure there is 2 and the Jason/piper/Reyna one wasn't really a prob coz Jason says he doen't like Reyna in TMoA. Also, the leo/frank/hazel one wasn't much either, it was just that leo looked alot like Sammy but why would hazel move onto Leo just coz he looks alot like someone she used to love????

Amy Schulenberg True. They make them all strong because they have someone to rely on

Yeah, love triangle are starting to get annoying too. But in his books there not that prominent. Well, I don't think so. Compared to other books at least.
