A.J. York | 2 comments Delilah Dusticle has special powers, she can completely eradicate dust. With her quiver pouch of special dusters Delilah can run up walls and reaches places others just can’t. As a maid in the Fenchurch-Whittington house Delilah’s unusual skills soon lead to her being promoted to Chief Dust Eradicator and Remover. Until one day a broken heart leads to her powers taking an expected turn.

This is the first in a series of touching and funny stories about Delilah Dusticle. Follow her on a journey of self-discovery, friendship and adventure.

Excerpt:

A suit of armour standing beside her in the hall coughed and shot out a puff of dust from its helmet. “Staff are not permitted to fraternise with the family and any shenanigans would lead to instant dismissal,” wheezed the armour.

“Don’t I know it,” said Delilah who then waved her duster at the falling dust cloud making it vanish in mid-air. For good measure she selected her dandelion duster and polished the armour, who was very ticklish and kept giggling. She then made her way to the staff kitchen for dinner.

I would a review for my children's chapter ebook. I can email a mobi. Thanks!

Graham Austin-King Hello Folks,
I would love to have some reviews done for my children's picture book. The story is aimed at 4-8yr olds and, in a humorous fashion deals with the topic of learning to keep your temper. I have the book out in both a kindle and paperback format and can email the .mobi file. The file works best on a kindle fire but the "kindle previewer" program (available from Amazon for free).

Hope you all like it.
Happy Reading

Valerie | 1 comments Reviewers Wanted for Children's Picture e-Books

I have three children's picture e-books, with the fourth publishing next week, and I would appreciate reviews! All three have hit #1 Best Seller in Category and have 4.6-5 star ratings on Amazon. Note: These books end very unexpectedly (and the kids love it). Think "Goal Setting and Perseverance Works" rather then "Be Content With Who You Are."

I can send you a pdf or mobi file of any or all three by email, or you could even download this first one, which is currently free on Amazon:

If there's anyone who has an iPad or iPad Mini and would like to receive the epub file for review, I can send the Dropbox link via email.
You can read more about the book on my website:

It has beautiful illustrations and fun, simple phrases that children love to repeat. I can send a pdf version by email if you are interested. Thanks!

Crystal and D.B. You can download Calibre free. It is a great application for reading eBooks and also converting ePubs to whatever form you would like. So Crystal, you can read ePubs on your Kindle if you convert via Calibre. Happy reading and I have a lot of respect for you for raising 3 boys.

Hi Marsha--Calibre is a great tool, but in the case of Mother Nature Rhymes it's no substitute for reading it on the iPad. Calibre doesn't fully support the animations in my book so reading it with Calibre will not work. Eventually all the devices and e-reading applications will be up to speed with the latest HTML5/CSS3, but at the moment only iOS does.

Apple says it will work on the iPhone 3G (or later) with the iBooks installed. If you can do it, here's the promo code to redeem it from the iBookstore:
ELM4MJW64JFK
Let me know if you need instructions on redeeming--it's pretty simple.

Thanks!

I've never done it on the iPhone, but I expect it should work the same as iPad:
Your iPhone must have the iBooks app installed.
Open iBooks and select "Store."
Select the "Featured" tab at the bottom of the window.
Scroll to the bottom of the Featured window and select the Redeem button.
Enter the promo code in the pop-up window. That's it.

D.B., Thanks for that. I thought that once Calibre converts an ePub into a MOBI, the file can be transferred to whatever i device and work.

Hi Marsha, I'm not saying that it doesn't--only that Calibre will not "play" Mother Nature Rhymes because I've done all my animations with CSS3 keyframe animation code (the future of animation on devices though only Apple is fully on board at this time) and Calibre won't recognize them fully yet. Just to clarify.

Murielle Cyr Hi,
My new picture book, TURTLE WISH, has just been released and needs reviews. The story deals with the need to belong. How far should a child go to get approval from a group? The little turtle starts off with an innocent trust of everybody. She soon learns that not all strangers have her best interest at heart.

I have another middle-grade book, CULLOO, that needs reviewing. It deals with the need to rely on your cultural roots for strength in times of trouble. Two children must find their missing father or else they risk the danger of being placed in foster care. Their adventure brings them to secluded woods where they discover that poachers are responsible for his disappearance.

]

Mobi and epub copies are available free for an honest review. Please message me if you are interested.

Susan Day (susandayauthor) | 12 comments Hi Guys, I’m looking for reviews for my latest book, Neptune’s Trident, on Amazon, Goodreads and Smashwords.

Grab your FREE copy of Neptune’s Trident here: https://www.smashwords.com/books/view...

Neptune’s Trident is the seventh book in the Astro’s Adventures series. Astro and a team of dogs belong to a secret organisation that save dogs from neglect. Their plans are foiled by an old alley cat, Speed Bump Charlie, who believes all dogs should be locked up so cats can roam free. In this title, Neptune has lost his all-powerful Trident. The dogs’ underwater adventure begins when a clumsy sea monster called Sherman accidently swallows them whole! They encounter a group of evil pirate catfish lead by the wicked, Speed Bump Charlie, and meet a variety of wonderful underwater creatures, including a mermaid. This story carries an important message about pollution in our seas. In it children are introduced to the Great Garbage Patch, a collection of rubbish that gathers in the Pacific Ocean and which is damaging our precious marine life.

Astro’s Adventures are chapter books written for 8 to 14 year olds who love adventures, spies, mystery and a good laugh. This title does not include the illustrations in the eBook version as yet but does in the print version. All other books in the series are fully illustrated.

Also, a percentage of sales from this book goes to the Australian Animal Protection Society.

Just use the FREE coupon code: WZ56Q (not case sensitive) when you purchase your copy. You can choose to download in a variety of formats including pdf, mobi (kindle) and iBook’s, Kobo and much more!
