I know Twilights a huge craze but does anyone know of some lesser known/mostly overlooked vampire books that you love?

Department Nineteen by Will Hill! It's not a sappy sissy love story but some tough vampires/vampire slayers along with Dracula, Frankenstein, werewolves etc.

Also this series is a little old (late ninties) yet is action packed and features a tough, take no prisoners heroine

OH MY GOSH! Someone else hear of it! I think that book is underrated. When reading this it felt like before vampire acadamy. cause there is pretty much only Dru as the girl vampire/human then in VA they point out there is more girls but still a little. It is Totally different though

Read Shadow Falls, House of Night or start reading Fallen ( fallen is about angels though. But it's sooooo good!)
